Empathetic Leadership Course
This is a 3 month programme for middle managers to develop leadership, strategy and communication skills to inspire, influence and manage teams both remotely and in-person.
Developing one’s vision, fostering inspirational influence and practicing reassuring dialogue are key skills for middle managers to mediate medium term strategy with short term tactics.
This course is designed with four learning pathways:
5 X 3 hour workshops
Self-Learning and Reading Assignments
Daily Journalling
6 X 1 hour coaching sessions
This course is best used for succession-planning and career development purposes, and is aimed at middle managers transitioning to senior management positions.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
Develop their own affirmations, missions and professional vision statements
Create their own KPQs and KPIs together with their supervisors for performance reviews
Practice empathetic dialogue in appropriate situations which require inspiration or sensitivity
Develop self-awareness for interpersonal communication
Use tools such as result chains and journey maps for strategic value creation for short, medium and long-term strategy and management
